Ok so I'm really behind on the latest in N400 filings I guess. What's the deal with this form G-1145? Apparently you send it with N400 and you will receive text message and email when the application has been received by USCIS?
Looks like this is a new type of form that one can send with N-400 and USCIS will send the notice of receipt on cell via text and email. No more updates will be send other than the receipt of the application.
Yes, once G1145 is filed along with any application, USCIS will send text message and/or email when the applications are received. You will continue to receive updates throughout the process.
Thanks nkm-oct28! Interesting to know that it's applicable for any USCIS applications. Relatively newer development, wasn't available about 5 years ago circa 2008.
