Sending documents

I had a question on sending I-131 and I-765 related documents to VSC. I was thinking of sending it by USPS Express mail or by FedEx? I am asking this because sometimes, I have experienced mail being returned because there is no one to collect it. Since this is the first time I am sending document to USCIS, I want to find out what is the most appropriate mechanism for sending the documents.

Hi tchangu,
The photographs for my wife's EAD was misplaced somehow while sending the EAD application. I came to know from the receipt notice. All I did was, I have attached 2 photos, copy of the receipt and a covering letter and sent it by USPS certified mail. The postal customer service associate told me that it will reach the BCIS in 2 days and I will get the certified mail confirmation in a week. I hope the BCIS will get the photos soon.
