I received RFE on April 5. As I switched company, the company laywer can no longer work for me. I am planning to send RFE all by myself. Many of you are very experienced.

1) Could you advise whether this is a good idea? Or it's better to get a new lawyer? Has anyone having such an experience?
2) Do I need to send all past I-94 or just the recent one. I lost some previous I-94s, is this a problem?
3) For I-797, I have H1B approval, H1B extension approval and I-140 approval. Do I need to send EAD approval (I-797F) ?

Below were what is requested:

1. photocopy of passport
2. photocopy of I-797 approval notices for all extension and change of status
3. photocopy of all I-20s
4. photocopy (front and back) of Form I-94 Arrival/Departure record

Thank you very much in advance for your advice.

1> In your case, i think you shd be able to reply to the RFE by yourself ?
But you shd make that judgement on your own, ultimately it is your decision.

what is your officer number ?
you shd check this thread.

2> you can't have all the I-94 arrival/departure cards as you must have given them at the airport when you travel.

all the best and do keep us all updated abt your case.

Thank you for your replies. The officer who issue my RFE is #295. I will definitely update all on this case.

>but still have a lawyer for future
tombaan: could you explain more?

More suggestions welcome!

I believe I knew somebody did REF by themselves, and turned out quite nice...

how about do this...

I saw a lot of RFEs got approved recently.
You can look at the RFE posting, ask RFE people how they responsed the RFE, then you'll get clue what to do on your RFE ...
How about this?

Good luck!

Please post your searching result.
