Check out the list of senators who voted yes on the Byrd Amendment. Out of the 14 there are only 3 Republicans and 1 Independent.
Wonder if it is worth following up to educate these guys. Or perhaps it is some sort of trade union vote...
This pattern is worth keeping in mind for the House too, we can't take the Democrat vote for granted.
