I cannot speak for the senator, but per the immigration liason of the congressmen I talked to that did my inquiry, it is their experience that the inquiry (they talk directly to the immigration officers) does speed things up usually.
hmmm, there are conflicting theories on this, my immigration attorney thinks it slows down processing...
hong3, your 485 got approved on April 8th right, that's just one day after you posted this message, was wondering if contacting the senator did anything or it was due anyway, when did you contact the senator? what's ur 485 notice date?
