Two senators from Colorado are
1) Wayne allard

Both are republican. But Ben is native amrican and used to be in Democratic party. This is election time so every one will be nicer. But in general I found that these officials are nice and easy to approach.
But do not contact the congressman Tancredo

Why do you think, there are better chances for the senators to reply in an election year if we have no right to vote? I don't think that if a senator helps me, and I would tell it to my American neighbor, the neighbor would vote for the senator. Why would he help? We can't do anything 5 years after we get our GC approved, and then, if we apply for citizenship, we will be able to vote. Can somebody clarify this fir me please?

They do not expect you to vote by every one. Even if a registered democrate goes for help, they will do. Even though they know that they are not going to vote for them. It is just that bad publicity hurts during election time. Good publicity may not help get a vote.
