Senator/Congressman Help on Pending I140

Pending I140 - RD DEC 2003

I contacted Senator. He asked me Receipt copy of I140. After 2 days he called me explain that your case is waiting for Visa. He told me so many things like your case is waiting for Visa. they have new law that till Jan 2002 application will process. Your case gone for security check. call your attorney to call me....etc.etc..He is not ready to Call INS. he looks over smart. I explain that new law is for those whose PD is does not reach to Jan 2002. Mine PD is on 2001. but he is not able to understand.

How to explain senator ? I asked him why will you contact to VSC instead of talking you decision. but he is not able to understand ? Anyone faced this type of issue.

What is best approach to Explain Senator ?

I am trying to contact now Congressman.

Really sorry to hear about your situation. My PD is from 2000. I'm also thinking of asking the legislative for help. When you say senator, do you mean United States senate or the state senate?

Life is hell when pending long time

United State Senator. According to him. INS does not have VISA quota for my application. So it will be pending with them. I have to wait till Quota will be availble. I do not know when I140 will approve. I lost hope with GC.
