Just watched the senate hearing today on CSPAN..
Sen. Byrd (West Virgina) introduced the ammendment...
It worries me to see the way he had distorted the language of the original bill... he made it seem that H1B and EB visas are the same thing.. although I do not feel he made a good case.. the only problem is ..he is a ranking democrat ..so he does carry weight..
Although there was a good rebuttal from Sen. from Texas..
the vote on the floor won't happen before 6pm ET today... so will see...
