Hi everybody
I have not posted before on this forum, but did find a lot of helpful suggestions from many. Thought I share my particulars to help others.
On October 23, 2003 filed both EB1 and EB2-NIW self petitioned (concurrently filled I-485) with TSC.
EAD & AP received Dec 03.
EB1 RFE Sept 2004; responded late Nov 2004, Denied December 2004. (RFE response I prepared as I fired my atty, and did not have time to have new aty prepare under short notice - see below)
At about the same time with denial to EB1 I received the notice of intent to deny on NIW and I-485 tied to it (mid Dec 04). In the meantime I am doing some research on my own (websites like these) and learning that my petitions were poorly prepared in the first place.
Quickly changing atty (Dec 04), at a great cost, and the new atty prepares the reponse to notice of intent to deny. Obtained 7 new recommendation letters (1 University Proffesor, 4 independent letters, 3 revised letters). Submitted response to NITD Feb 7 05, approved Feb 22, 05!!!
My qualifications:
Masters in Finance (MBA) - US school tier II program
7 years of experience, at the time of initial petiton about 5 yrs
worked at the bank, then at Fortune 500 company as financial analyst, then switched to real estate industry as a financial manager where I devised some models helping me obtain the approval to NIW.
Good luck to all of you!
Cheers
