Self Employed - N400 Application

Hello All,

I'm currently self employed(C corp) and work for clients through a vendor and the company address is same as my home address, what do we need to fill in employement section. Do I need to mention my company name and home address also at the time of interview do i need to take any documents related to the company. Please advise.

If you 'have' a C-Corp (or S-Corp, LLC etc), you are NOT self-employed. You are employed by the Corporation. (even if you are the sole employee)

So list your employer as the Corporation.

And as @risah has already mentioned, corporate documents aren't' needed for naturalization.l

Should one list his business under Part 10 B 8&9 (Affiliations?)?

N400 should add a question: have you been an owner of any business
(except for stock traded on the public exchange).

No. Unless of course your business is something that would normally qualify as a fund/party/association/organization etc.

What would be the benefit of asking whether someone owns a business for Naturalization purposes?

(I run a business. However, it appears that the Business owns me :) )
