selective services

hello friends,

I have been a permanent resident since 5 yrs, and i;m not aware that i have to apply for selective services, now i want to apply for citizenship and i'm 27, so obviuosly i cant' register, so wht should be my step regarding selective services thing? will be greatful to any one who has suggestions to me .thanks agian
