selective services registration and N400

I was 25 and a half when O became a permanent resident through my job. I am eligible to apply for my citizenship now. When I was going through the N-400 form, it asked me about selective services registration. I was not aware that I was supposed to register if I became a US redident before I turned 26.

I tried to register for selective services but it didnt allow me because I am over 30 years old. What can I do to successfully complete my N400 form if I hadnt registered for SS when I was 25.5 years old.
Any help or pointer will be appreciated

Call SS and explain them why you did not register and they will mail you the letter.
