Selective Service

Can anyone please post their experience regarding the selective service in the N-400 interview.
I didn't know about this at the time I was 26 and I submitted a letter stating that I didn't know and I would serve this country if I was asked.
Did this ever was denied in an interview?
Your answers will be pretty much appreciated as I know lot of people with the same case.

I don't have experience with selective service cases, as it doesn't apply to me, but I heard that if you're over the age of 32 (5 yrs. after 26, the time you're requirement for registration ends), you establish "good moral character", in any other case you need some good and frank reason why you didn't register! Good luck!

I've heard pretty much the same as Aloha described it. I am in a similar situation, I did not know that I was supposed to register and my lawyer told me that I should be fine because in my case the 5 year already has passed since I was 26 years old. Otherwise it will be a problem.
