Selective Service question..

Just recently, about a week ago i sent the registration for the Selective Service System. Right now i am applying for the N-400 and have everything filled out, with everything required in an envelope ready to send out.

However, I did not fill out the Selective Service fields out (Registration # and Date). What will happen if I send out the N-400 without those fields completed? Will they just ask me to bring proof of registration with the Selective Service on the interview date, or will they just deny the application?

It'll definitely be noted as a missing evidence, but most likely you will simply need to bring it along to the interview.

Ok, so if it's noted as missing evidence, what other alternative do they have other than bringing the evidence to the interview?

Usually it is only the interview when they will ask you for it.

Right. Most probably after you send in your N-400, you'll receive a "receipt with exceptions", but you won't have to provide the docs until you go to interview.
