I applied for my citizenship back in July 2004, i got inteviewed in Memphis, tn on Feb 7, 2005. I put down my number for the selective service registration. When interviewed, i was asked for proof of registration of selctive service, so i showed the officer the card i have. Everything was fine. Now, i was goofing off online only to find out on the selective service website, that my selective service number is different than the one i put down on my application, which is the number i got off the card i carry and the card the officer looked at during the interview. I called the Selective service, they said they had two numbers for me and one is invalid, and the invalid one is the one i had on my card, she said she has to go with the older one, which is a different number, she said she would have to mail me another card with the new number. I told her that i am going through a naturalization process , she said not to worry cuz even if they don't find that number , the USCIS would give them a call to see if i am registered. Do you guys think that's enough? do you think i should call the USCIS to clear things up? Do the USCIS care wheather i am registered or not, or wheather i put down the right number ? i don't want to be considered liying on my application, specially the the officer confirmed the wrong number on the card and matched with the number on my application. so, after all, it's not my fault, its the selective service office's fault.
What do you think?

Well, you have the card sent by them which is a enough to proove that you have done your part.
Did she took a copy of your card or have you submitted a copy with your application?
I think you are fine.

I neither sumbitted a copy with the application nor she made a copy of it. Like usual, she asked about the passport, GC, DL , and selective service card, she looked at it and confirmed what i had on the application and everything was fine.
