Selective Service letter - Question about status

Folks,

I am going to write to the selective service department for the letter stating I was not required to register for SS since I received my green card after I was older than 26. However, I just noticed a discrepancy in my status.

My F1 Visa (in my passport) expired on 1/8/98. But my F1-OPT started from 1/12/98 (my first day of employment). My I-20 had 2/18/2001 as the latest date of completion of studies. I did not leave the US between graduating from school and joining employment during my OPT. Is this 4 day period a problem for me in terms of status?

My dates are as follows:
F1: 1/9/96-1/8/98
OPT: 1/12/98-1/11/99
H1B: 10/1/98-3/24/2001
H1B: 3/24/01-4/21/01
GC: 4/21/01-Present ( I was 26 years and 4 months then)

Any problems with them?

Thanks.

That's correct

Don't worry about the visa. You student status is governed by I-20 and the fact that you were in school or on OPT. Just send them copies of your passport of when you first entered the US.

If someone is on F-1 (lawful nonimmigrant) visa then I think he can choose to say NO on the application. Or am I reading it wrong.

"Are you a male who lived in the United States at any time between your 18th and 26th birthdays in any status except as a lawful nonimmigrant?
If you answered "NO," go on to question 34.
If you answered "YES," provide the information below."

Yes. Answer is NO to that question

Yes. I answer NO to that question in the N-400. However it is my assumption that I will be asked for the Selective Service letter at the interview as proof of my answer.
