See this link - Concurrent approval without finger print

There was another case posted in today's Murthy Bulletin. 485 filed in Dec 2003 approved in July 2004. This goes to prove that US immigration system is not about rules, laws or procedures. It's all about luck and survival of the fittest. All you need is, to know how to work around the system and little luck. Hey, didn't I read somewhere that the Iraqi guy that saved Pvt. Lynch got his green card in a day? :o

I 485 approved without I 140 approval

Your I 485 letter is self explantory. It says to have FP.
I don't see any problem now or there is no need to inform INS.

I have not got confirm news from the guy but first hand news is his I 485 approved (and stamped) without I 140 approval (concurrent).

So everything is possible for USCIS.

That FP, I guess is normal part of GC stamping procedure. It is different from the FP during the AOS process. I wonder how this guy's background check/ namecheck etc was done!

And when they created DHS, it was to improve security ?!?!

Yeahhhhh, riggggght .... :D

Wonder if that person can request refund of the biometrics fee :D :D j/k -- just stamp PP and lie low :)
