Hi All,

I have a question on Security Clearance. Some Jobs require security clearnce whether your US Citizen or not and you need to fill out Form sf85P. Now if a person have US GC and Citizenship of TWO Countries. Does it creates a problem? Other question the person have lied at the Crossing border while coming back to US? Does this can cause a problem in getting Security Clearnace????

Any reply would be appreciated- Thanks

What clearance level?

A Confidental clearance is fairly simple and I doubt there would be a problem but if you needed a TS/SCI clearance (particularly from Fort Meade or the CIA) I doubt you would get it. The company should be able to give you more accurate information.

It depends on the clearance level.

You must be a US citizen for access to any information labeled as "NO FOREIGN". Lots of information is labeled for use by NATO. It depends on the clearance level and the material which is being used in the area where you will work.
