According to the latest information from the Immigration and Naturalization Service, the new requirement for security checks on most pending petitions and applications will result in an additional delay in processing of approximately 30 days.

Delay in Processing

Folks,
I have read your discussions, some say its a false rumor that NSC is not processing any applications and many say very less number of applications are approved by NSC.

My lawyer says NSC is taking from 12 months to 18 months for approvals. It may even take more months due to increased security checks.

By the way what exactly INS means by security checks?

Any way they are doing what they are told to do, but in new policy we are the unfortunate people fallen as a prey.
