Security check *wait time*

PD; march 2002
485 is in 2002 as well. The case transferred from vermont. Does the security check have anything to do with transfer. All the dependents passed the check but no LUD's online for the cases. Primary is still under the check.
Does every case go throught a security check?
has any one on this board went through this and came out.

went for FP about 6 months ago and rfe was done about 8 months ago and no updates after that, after an inquiry we heard about the check.
Also after fp the fbi name check cleared and the details were sent out for all cases

I think the best way to find out your security check status is to contact your congressman or senator. They can give a response within couple of weeks.

Our PD is August 2001. Our cases are stuck at Security check too. No word yet. When we inquired they sent a mail that the case is awaiting Security clearance and if there is no response within 6 months then contact them again.
