Secondary Inspection (adv. parole) in LAX

How long does it take for secondary inspection (for adv. parole) in LAX?

My spouse's flight is delayed and wanted to know if the connection will be missed.
 
Time could vary.

In Feb. 2004 we used AP to enter at LAX. It took us 2+ hours!!! :( :confused:

It was at night and there were few people coming behind us during the 2+ hours though.

In May 2003 my wife went through LAX secondary inspection in under 10 minutes. There were other, more complicated cases there, so they really didn't spend too much time with her.
