Secondary 485 Approved before primary

Has anyone come across a scenario wherein Secondary applicants 485 has been approved before Primary. My friend as a scenario wherein his spouse and child 485 approvals (secondary) was notified by automated email response from USCIS. Friends 485 (primary) is still pending post FP.

Request if anyone has any insight into this situation.

We discussed about this senario before in this forum. It turns out to be two results:

1) The prmary applicant's case was approved too, but no online message changes.
2) The primary applicant was stuck in the name check.

You may ask your friend to call VC to find his status out.
 
Update

It seems the primary 485 is also approved. It was a mistake that got rectified on lawyers discussion with VSC.Apparently 485 for depedndants and primary were cleared on the same day.
