Hi All,
Did anyone get an RFE again after submitting the first one. Looks like i got an RFE in May 2006 and my lawyer replied back in July. Yesterday i got emails from USCIC saying the they have sent RFE for me and my wife. The previous RFE details are below.

RFE for me:
1. Employment verification
2. Biographical information (for G325A)
3. Photos in new format

RFE for my wife
1. Photos in new format.

Wondering if anyone had similar experience and what could it be? I'm stil waiting on the RFE to arrive.

Regards,
shylakish

My detail:
PD: Aug 2004
140 AP: Dec 2003
485 RD: Jan 2004
Country: India
Service center: NSC.

Happened to some others too.

But, how is your PD: Aug 2004 , when 140 AP is already approved in Dec 2003?

It should be the Labour applied date. Correct?

Sorry. The PD is Aug 2002. It was a typo.

You said it happend to some others. do you know what it is about? i'm still waiting for the RFE for the details.

Be patient.

The RFEs generally take about a week to reach attorney office.

I would mail attorney's assistant after one week (attornies generally dont reply to mails fast) and ask if he/she has received the rfe mail.

Why they took soo long ..

Hi shylakish Do you have any idea why it took so much time for USCIS to process your RFE. Normally they process it in 15-20 days. I am in similar situation as I got exact same RFE (G325 and AC21). They received my RFE reply on 3rd of Aug. but I havn't heard any thing back from them since then. Do let us know what your second RFE is about. Hopefully something easy.

received RFEs

If you dont have birth certificate, you can have affidavit signed by both your parents. Alternatively you can give affidavit by one parent and one close relative who was present at the time of birth.

Your attorney should have seen your birth certificates and told you upfront about it.

Anyway your attorney will have the format in which you'll need the affidavits. Just ask for the format from him.

Additionally search for birth certificate rfe threads (there are a lot of them here) - they also contain some formats for birth certificate affidavit. But I would not rely on them, because many of them have obsolete format. I would rely on my attorney.
