Hi guys, as stated before we have won the dv lottery with a case number of EU5###, the KCC have confirmed that our forms have been received on June 22nd but we are yet to receive an interview even though the current numbers for Oct are 8000.
I had assumed that we would have heard by now about an interview, anyone got any ideas of why we haven't?

It is normal. Receiving forms does not mean they are ready for interview. Allow them 2-12 weeks to complete processing of your forms. I called them last week and learned that processing of my forms just finished. I sent mine on June 13th.

Yep agreed. They seem to be overwhelmed with closing out the DV2013 year and then starting DV2014.

My documents are ready for interview and I expect to get an interview date in December which means i hope to get 2NL in couple of weeks.
But, I need to correct typos on my forms, Do you think that emailing new set of forms might cause delay on getting 2NL (do forms need to be processed again??)? What do you suggest?

Yes irishregers, it can be normal because they have lots of work and forms to process. My forms where at the KCC by June 3, I have a EU4*** and I didn't received my 2nl untill mid September... and my interview is schedulled for late November!!!

The best you can do is call KCC if you have doubts.

Then date of receiving forms is important. Someone with higher CN who sent documents earlier gets early interview date although their CN is high. But KCC says: 'Interviews are scheduled numerically based on case numbers that have completed processing.'

You are right scusyxx, but they only schedule interviews for already processed forms, so if you sent them late, they were processed late, and when they where ready perhaps they had scheduled interviews for another applicants with current higher numbers that had theirs forms processed earlier. I think that works like this.

Your CN is very low for EU region and you get late November interview date which means many applicants are sending in forms for processing.
