Can I get another part time job ( not related with my current full time job) using my EAD to earn some extra money? Is this considered as illegal?

You can get as many jobs as you want as long as you have a valid EAD.
Just make sure you keep your job for the GC sponsoring employer.

No problem in doing multiple jobs using EAD. Note that using EAD voids your H1.
