I have been called for a second interview in about seven weeks from today. The letter was sent to my new address but the interview is in my former state. I still own a property in my former state..which am trying to sell...plus i work in that state too. Unfortunately/fortunatley...i have been laid off and am looking for a job presently and am desparately looking for a job where my wife lives. Among the documents i have are
-Leases (for the past two years)
-Car insurance for both our cars...each one is listed as a driver
-Loan application
-Utility bills
-Life insurance
-Checking account
-My wife changed her last name
-Notirized letter from the Dad
-Pictures taken with the family
Anything else i need to know ?

Out of job is not a problem since yours is not based on employment AOS. As long as your marriage is legitimate and have your marriage license you are fine. Since you are not currently employed they might ask you to prove that you are not likely to become a public charge. For this you can get a letter from your bank if you have good savings or you can show your property. For an added comfort I would take common health insurance cards, Car insurance, joint checking/saving account…etc. I don’t think they even look at your photos but it doesn’t hurt including

Good luck
