Any Sep 2002 filers waiting for 2nd FP

I know several Sep 2002 filers have rec'd second FP notices and also approval. I have not rec'd any. Wanted to see if there are others also in the same boat or am I the only unlucky one?

Aug-02 Case - Nothing heared since FP1 on 10-2002

During the period, I have applied 2 EADs and 1 AP. The third EAD and 2nd AP are applied recently. But the I-485 has not move at all.
Besides, have called and sent by fax to FBI name check to inquiry status several times for the past three months, NOOOOOOOOOO body called me back.

What is going on???

Any ideas?

Anybody has the similar situation?

Your case is not uncommon. The name check etc happens only on FP. Since you have not done FP2 yet- no recent name check info is there with FBI.
I recently did FP2 but my last update has not changed since FP1.
Good Luck- to get FP2.
 
Same here dude... FP1 in Sep 2002 & nothing since

I am in the same boat here. My FP1 was done in the last week of Sep 2002 and I am still waiting for my 2nd FP.

The wait is really getting to me now!!!!

What state are you in? I'm in the same situation. I have a theory that we haven't received FP2 because our application service centers are very slow FP2-wise. I think if your local ASC cannot accomodate your FP2, the service center won't send you the FP2 notice.

I'm in PA and belong to the Philadelphia ASC. I haven't seen any PA approvals lately. It all has something to do with the PA ASC's having some kind of problems.

I thought i am the only unlucky guy waiting for 2 FP and did 1 fp in sep 02 ..
i have few friends joined me in my 2 fp waiting club .
Anyway i appied 3 ap 3 eads . no news ...frustation!!!!

I was in MA when my I-485 was filed. but moved to NH now. I thought atleast the Address change would trigger some activity but nothing happened. A friend of mine who applied at the same time & works in the same company got his card about a month back.
 
Anyone waiting for the 2nd FP notice? My RD is May 2002.

Please post your first FP date and place. It looks like several places have either a problem, or this is just the perfect excuse for USCIS to hold back thousands of applications. The pilot programs and the memos (concurrent) also have a negative impact to 2002 applicants getting a second FP, as these groups are being scheduled for 1st FP first to accomodate some not so healthy backlog reduction plan. There is also apparent randomness between 2002 applicants, as October, November, December 02 and early 03 are getting FP notices.

DHS agencies having budget problems except USCIS: The director does not want more money!
FBI : 20000 people strong
ICE : 20000 people strong
USCIS : About 10000 with about 4000 Adjudicators. 25% of them doing FP checking. What are the 20000+20000 of FBI and ICE combined are doing???

2nd FP

It seems that the backlog reduction is done affecting the old cases.
I forgot the date, but 1FP was in NY-Hempstead Spring 2003.
It also seems that the FP taken for I485 are not used for EAD renewal or the other way around. There is no communication inside USCIS.
