Second FP notice

I received the second finger print notice a few days ago. However my husband didn't receive it. We had the first finger print at the first time. My questions is:

1. Is there any way to push USCIS to mail the second finger print notice to my husband? We did the first finger print on Fed of 2003. So both of ours are already expired.

2. Will the delay of his second finger print cause any delay to my case? What's going to happen when my case is reviewed by an officer without his finger print result?

Does anyone have similiar experience? I really appreciate any suggestions/oponions.

I asked my attorney the same question 2 weeks ago and what she told me was:

1. you can't make things faster on his case.

2. It may / not affect the speed of adjudication of your case.

The reason for both: each case is separate.

hope it helps,

Why separate case?

Thank you very much for your prompt reply! :)
I don't understand why he/she said it's separate case. I am the main application and he's the beneficiary. Isn't this the same case? How come USCIS treat them separately?

It's a separate case since each of you have a different case number. each of you is going separately through security checks, background checks, name checks, etc...the way my attorney described it is:"results may vary". You are the principal, true, however each applicant is separate.

for my case also we didn't get the 2nd FP notice at the same time. wait for a few more days, you'll get it.
