Second FP done and now WHAT??

I am one of you frustrated guys wanting to know why there was a snowball of second FP notices and this sudden total silence. What r these jokers upto???

I have a conspiracy theory: The goal of the second FP was to check how many of us still here. I already have noticed couple of cases with RFE issued in November 2003 and no one responds on RFEs, it means people already left the U.S.

if more than 50% of them respond to 2nd FP, then wait 15 more months and re-issue the FPs and check the figures again. This cycle will continue until the percentage drops to a comfortable 2-3%...............
 
Let us look at the issue from the other side. Due to abnormal delays in 485 processing BCIS wants to make sure that the adjustee(s) is/are still interested in permanent residence. FP is generated automatically this is why many people are getting FP notices even if FP is done very recently. As you know RFE is for employment check.
 
What I know is: The fact that they have sent FP to a huge number of applicants means they have done a lookup/Query on cases within a specific date mostly driven by the Processing date. Having done that, They went and started sending an RFE on a set of cases which I believe is random but I believe before the Dec time frame and add to that some unique criteria on the cases (which we don't know).

Where this theory fails to apply, is that some people with a processing date around or before DEC haven't received anything yet and that is what I call exception cases thats all.

Bottom line, This is really frustrating however we look at it and try to understand it... and the conspiracy continues....
