Second finger printing?

I had my first finger print in Oct '04 and haven't yet recieved notice for my second finger printing. ANyone else in my shoes who has had more than a year since their first finger print and has not recieved notice for the second one.
Is this normal, I thought we are needed to Fp every year.

Not every year, every 15 months, more precisely, they normally issue FP notice after 15 months. There is an opinion if your PD is not current, they wait until it becomes current and only then issue a new FP notice...
I had FP also in Oct 2004 and just got a second notice...

My case is same. I did my first FP in Oct' 04 and since then waiting for my second FP. But I think compass is correct in his opinion. We may have to wait long for our next FP.
