Hello everyone,

Last week I had biometric appointment at an ASC and the next day I had interview. I think, I am hoping interview went OK. After the interview next day I received mail came came from the field office that i had interview and it says that I am scheduled for another fingerprint. The first fingerprint/biometric was with Code 3 that was one day before the interview and one i received after interview is code 1. The ASC for the first biometric is very close to me about 30 mins. but the one I scheduled for after the interview is very far from me about 3 hours. I am a little bit confused. Can somebody explain what is going on?

Thank you.

The reason for your being called in for another biometrics is that the FBI is not satisfied with the first set of fingerprints. Those fingerprints may have not been clear and hence the second interview. You need not pay any additional fee for this and can take the biometrics test on your first fee itself. I think you can go in to the ASC that is nearest to you and inquire whether you can take the biometrics there itself. Because, Walk-ins are permitted for biometrics, this may also be allowed.
