Second 140/485

Hi, everyone,

I am filing 140/485 concurrently based on OR.
Since now PERM is to be in effect, my company is sponsored
my LC as well.

Since the LC will be approved in 2-3 months, most possibly
somewhere July, at that moment, I guess my concurrently
filed EB1 140/485 is still not approved yet. Do you think
at that moment I can file another concurrent 140/485 based on
EB2? How much time do I have to decide whether to file 140/485 or
not after the LC is approved? What I worry is:
My EB1 140/485 is denied some time after July and the LC is expired as well, and I need to go through another round of LC application to
file the EB2 140/485.

BTW, anyone can share some experience on recent concurrent
140/485 based on EB1? How long does it take to get approved/denied?

Also wonder:

Once my LC is approved, can I just file 140 and connect this Eb2 140 to
my Eb1 485 (the 485 is connected to both eb1 140 and eb2 140)
and claim the new eb2 application as a concurruent filing?

Have much dependence on which service center you are in

Regarding your questions on processing times, it has strong dependence on which CIS service center you are in. If you check the USCIS website, you can find large difference in processing speeds for various EBs for different service center.
