Hi all,

Our I-485 applications got transfered to the Seattle office. Our details are as shown in the signature below. I don't know why our cases got transfered, but I am guessing it is because my wife and I were married 2 months before we sent our applications. Anyway, It would be great for people to share their experience with the Seattle office. We are expecting to be called for an interview and I will be sharing our experience with everyone once it happens. Hopefully, it will be a happy experience :D

A few questions:

1) Does the Seattle office usually tell the applicants what documents to bring?

2) What documents should one take to their interview if nothing was specified?

3) Do you think it is necessary to take the lawyer to the interview? I know every case is different, but if I'm not lying about anything and have nothing to hide, should I take the lawyer? Do the officers usually try to pick on people, so a lawyer is needed? From what I read on this forum, it seems like most people had good experience in their interveiws.

Any advice from the experts would be appreciated!
