Is Seattle Non-RIR queue really processing 9/2003 applications?
while RIR queue is at 1/2003?
My labor (EB2 -RIR with one of those infamous DOT codes:( ) is stuck at SWA in OR for nearly a year!
so before it goes to Fed DOL, is it wise to bump it into Non-RIR and thus increase chances that it gets approved and since the over all time for labor (State + Fed).

Thanks

I don't know if you can change to non-RIR without going back to end of NON-RIR queue. Anyway the reason seattle queue is at
9/2003 for non-rir is because none of the state non-rir queues have moved in the last year and a half! you can check the dates at http://www.workforcesecurity.doleta.gov/foreign/times.asp

(look for the states under seattle DOL queue -- They are all still in early 01 for regualr permanent and have been there forever).

Let me know if something like this is possible. I've been stuck for almost 2 years in the seattle queue..:)

Confusion

I don't think the dates mean anything. I applied at ID sesa in 3/03 and it was cleared in 10/03, regular proc. If you look at the ID date, its at 2001 for regular ??? But I'm hoping Fed LC at Seattle clears soon since my H1 expires in Jan 04.
Anyone knows if there is a separate queue for Seattle in San Francisco?

seperate queue for seattle in SF DOL

Yes, there is a seperate queue for Seattle DOL in SF DOL.
I was referring to that queue dates in my earlier posting. It says that Regular is @ 9/2003 and RIR is at 1/2003!
So, if the dates are accurate, it should be smooth sailing for you. Infact, you might want to check with your attorney if SF DOL sent a RD.

BTW, is urs one of the Software/Analyst DOTs?

Good luck,

I do not know what the DOT code is. But I'm sure the following occupation was used: Computer Software Engineers, Applications.
I'll check with my attorney for a Receipt date. Will update this thread if any more info comes my way. Good luck!
