Hi,

I will be going to Seattle INS for correcting names on AP for me and my spouse. My attorney told me that I will not be able to take appointment. So, I will just walk-in.

Has anybody visited Seattle INS office for similar work?
How was the experience?
What is the best time/day to go?

Your feedback is appreciated.

mugdha2100,

I went to the Seattle BCIS office a couple of weeks ago. My I485 petition was approved and I went to have my passport stamped. The Seattle office accepts walk-ins, but you can also get appointments. In fact, when I was waiting in line, an IIO said that they recently introduced an appointment system and they were hoping most of their cases would be by appointment. Right now they have a huge rush in the begining of the day.

Unfortunately I do not have their telephone number, but you can call NSC and get it from them. I would urge you to try and get an appointment to avoid the lines (thye're actually not nearly as bad as most major cities). Here is the link to the Seattle office from BCISs website:

As far as which day to go, I don't know, but I went on a Wednesday. The office opens at 10:00 that day, so it's definitely not a good one.

Thanks a lot Sadiq! The information is really helpful. And it will save a lot of time. I will surely try to get an appointment.

Regards,

Mugdha.
