I remembered a couple of months ago, someone posted a script
for checking case status. I tried to use it several times and it worked fine.

But now this script does not work for new BCIS web site anymore.
I tried to modify the script by typping new web site URL but that does not work either.

I wonder if the author can repost that script.

Here you are

Just open the Excel file, "Alt+F8", select "I485scan" and click "run. Then just follow the instructions.

Enjoy it!:)

THANKS GREENLAND !

Hey Greenland

That is a very nice piece of work - THANK YOU

Thank you again greenland

Tried to run your script, it worked great.

However, I have a question:
Is there anyway that I can selectively scan a pre-stored
eac numbers rather than specify a range?

The reason I am asking is this: Suppose I scanned a range
for the first time, say from eac-02-066-51000 to eac-02-066-52000. Next time I run this script, I may want to scan ONLY
i-485 cases that I scanned before. These eac numbers is already in my excel sheet. If the script can read these eac numbers and only scan those numbers, the script may run a much faster and save us a lot of time.

Is this feasible?

Thanks.

greenland have you also written similar codes for I-140 & I-765?

If yes, then please post them here.

This is VERY GOOD WORK !!!

eac-02-108-xxxxx

I ran eac-02-108-5000 to 51000, no recent movement except for one transfer in December.

wxz0205nj, you can selectively check ....

... the status of cases. If you previously ran the script and there is already an xls file with the results, then by default the script checks only the eac#s on that sheet. You may even add or remove eac#s from the sheet to make the script check only the numbers you want.

Thank you "when?", you answered wxz0205nj's question

wxz0205nj, please refer to the answer from "When?". By the way, I want to remind you guys who are running the script -- don't script large range, otherwise BCIS will block your computer for one day and you cannot check the status. I couldn't do too much about it.
