Hi,
I have been place on scholastic dismissal and have been asked to sit out for a semester. I am currently in the U.S on an F-1 which expired in 05 but was granted an extension from the USCIS and have a valid I-20 till 08.
However I was wondering if the dismissal puts me out of status and if so do i need to apply for a reinstatement or do something else??
I would greatly appreciate any advice regarding my status.
