Our visa number is current but we still have 2 months until our interview. I rang the civil surgeon's office today to enquire about list of vaccines we will be required to have.

The secretary told me she could book us in next week. I said I didn't want to book just yet; just wanted to know vaccine list, as we want to get our vaccines spaced out, through our GP. Plus as I am immune to quite few; I want to get the DT vax rather than the DTaP one (I'm immune to pertussis) and the civil surgeon may not have that one, etc.

They will be ringing me back to discuss further. The thing is we want to avoid the seasonal flu vaccine and can only avoid this by having our final appointment on or after 1st April. Is this wise to advise the civil surgeon that we are hoping to get in on April 1st onwards to avoid seasonal flu shot?

Do we have flexibility with this process as to when we choose to go in, taking into account civil surgeon availibility, of course? Thanks.
