I hope someone can help! My family and I have been here since 2002. We entered on B1/B2,extended our stay 6 more months, then changed to F-1 and F-2 for my husband and children. We recently changed status for my oldest son to F-1 in order to start college. We have status, not visa stamped
My father in law died and my husband traveled to Guatemala on F-2 status.
He took I-20's, financial proof, letter from shool and all that, but I am scared to death for him to go to our embassy, we've heard horror stories!!! I am scared he will be denied.
Ok, my question. His B1/B2 is still valid until 2007. Can he re enter on that?
Did the change of status cancelled that? Did he changed satus by leaving the country? I just need him back...
