Scan LINS Using Greenland and Kashmir - Reduce Overhead

Scan The LINS-- Use Greenland and Kashmir Script

Step 1) Search for greenland scripts. and follow the procedures to scan your lin range
It allows to you search 1000/Day . If your Lin is 02-100 then scan for few days
to get all the LIN I485 Numbers.

Step 2) Copy all the LIN Numbers from the spreadsheet into a text file.

Step 3) Run Kashmir Java program.
Procedure to run kashmir after getting all the lins from greenland.
Go to DOS window and the directory where you stored the text file
C:\LINSCAN\
C:\ type textfile.txt | java -jar kashmir1.zip > 02-100.txt

Once you get all the LIN's for the Notice Date you dont need to run again the
greenland script to get all the LIN numbers, Just run kashmir java based on the text file in step 2.

Save the results for Notice Date and Scan them Once a week to know the status how they are processed/ing.

greenland behaves the same way: once you get i485 LINs on a worksheet, subsequent runs of the greenland script will scan for only the LINs on the sheet. it will not process all LINs for your ND unless you delete or rename the sheet.
