Saturday surprise for EB2 NCS

I could not believe it when I opened my email today, around 5pm. I usually never check case status on the weekend. Well, I have got a notice that upon approving my case the CARD was ordered.
Both mine and Wife's cases had LUD for today's date. Only one approval though. Hopefully the NSC was about to close for the weekend and my wife's case will be approved on Monday.
I will stick around for a bit. These forums are very helpful.
Thank you all and good luck!. Although my journey to GC is around 2 years ( including the ETA LC), it was painful waiting anyway.

congrats on the sat approval :) I think the system updates late, so you probably got the email late friday. I was curious what the RFE was about if you did not mind sharing it.

The notice on the website said April 8, which is saturday as to my biggest surprise. The emails came with time stamp at 4 pm central time! And I checked the website at 8 pm on Friday :)

We have recieved 2 RFEs, one for me, one for my wife. Each of them had 2 statements for evindence. The first was common for both of us, which asked to prove the legal status from entrance day till H-1B status. Second statement was different. For me it asked to submit the proof that the position still exists and my employer's statement with current date on the official memo stating that he will hire me with the same conditions and terms.
For my wife it asked to prove that the marriage is bona fide.

Thanks for sharing the infos with us, do you by any chance live in California because I do, the question I have is my LUD also changed twice but I center was Nebraska, do you think it is an RFE or close to approval, not sure.

When yours got approved did you see LUD's change couple of times.

mine EB2: NSC, concurrently applied I-140/485 Jul,04 but I-140 appr'vd May-05. I-485 ..don't know when?

Your are welcome. I live in Chicago... NCS are pretty good with message updates. 4 month of calm in my case, then LUD on I-485 with RFE message, right away. Then recieving response to RFE originated LUD. Couple days later another LUD - but no message. Few days later LUD with ordered card message.
It is really hard to speculate on LUDs. You could get RFE, but you could not. LUD can't tell you much except that they are working on your case. And that is a good thing...

One more question I forgot to ask you was did the LUD changed both for you and your wife, I am wondering this LUD change was triggered because of my EAD renewal, I am just thinking. Did you receive RFE on I-485 if yes whatis it regarding.

Dude, read the posting #3 above for RFE issues on our I-485 cases.
Up till today, both mine and my wife cases had same LUD sequence, only on Saturday she did not get the message about the card.
Today I got LUD and message changed to "Welcome notice was sent...". Her I-485 stayed with last LUD 4/8/06. As I said those LUDs hard to guess, but it might be close . I used AP recently . AP LUD changed for me and my wife few days ago without any message. Some kind of internal processing. Keep your fingers crossed...

This sucks!

Why would they approve my case, but transfer spouse's to local office. I know they will want to question our marriage, and I know it is real. So more of waiting...
