Here is my short story of passport stamping at Arlington.

We went to Arlington VA Office on Friday at 6.30 for stamping. There were at least 250 people in front of us we were turned back no stamping done on that day. Mean while I realized that my passport is due to expire in October. Submitted passport for renewal on Monday in India Embassy on Monday in person and picked it up on Tuesday. Went to Arlington office today (Wednesday) for stamping. We were there before 5.30 thinking that we will be oen of the few people in line. To our surprise there were about 100 folks already in line some of them were there from 1.A.M (Yes Mid night) and were still inn their sleeping bags. Finally we got the token and went in side at 7.30 and we waited until our number came. Finally at 11.30 officer call us and they stamped our passports. They took courtesy copy of approval notice and all EAD and I-94 and stamped passport. One more thing they are only serving VA and DC at the Arlington office. There are checking ID to make sure. My advise if any body has an option to go Norfolk go there, Avoid Arlington (Purely for number of people only, officers were cordial) or else go there before if you want to go back to work. Hope this will help somebody. good luck to all

dyn, congrats on your stamping. You mentioned Norfolk. Do you happen to know how long it takes to schedule an interview for a transferred case at that office? Thanks.
