Hi Sara, POJ & all other experts-

I do know that amidst of all these new chaos I should not bug you guys.
But I was not left with no option, after even my lawyer not giving enough information.

Here is the my situation...

You might have saw (or observed) chain of threads going on the stucked spouse cases like mine, Ellada and gcwaiter66.

I just called TSC and lady told that her security clearance is pending.

I want to understand where my wifes case in will fall in which category?
And what priority date will she inherit? My prioirity date was OCT 2001.
I got my approval AUG 29.

So with your knowledge can you guys tell me if she is with in the prioirty date or after.

Once again I appreaciate your help.

Here is what I think ...

apind004,

I believe I have some bad news for you. Although I am not certain about dependent PDs, I believe it is inherited from the primary applicant PD. So your wifes PD is the same as yours. If your wife is not approved by October 1st then she will be in the same boat as all of us. She will have to wait for her PD to become current. Just pray that by some miracle she gets her approval before October.

I hope I am wrong but I am pretty cetain of what I have told you. Maybe some others can clarify further.

Hi Saras -

I forgot to mention you mine is EB2 with priority date is 01-OCT-2001.
Tell me if that changes my wifes luck?

i believe saras is correct...your wife's application may be stuck due to retrogression if she is not approved by months end. dependants too require visa numbers and if her security clearance is not completed by then...then she's stuck.

i think there's a case similar to yours on the board where spouse still hasn't recd the 485 approval.

I don't know if you read what I have recently posted. I think if our dependants do not hear something by October, we will have to wait longer.
