Saras and March bulletin

I used to post this kind of thread whenever a bulletin used to come earlier.
Now I lost the interest. My PD is eb3 India april 2002. When my turn will come. In the case of Saras it is so near yet so far. What am doing in USA? Is it something worth spending my time? I have a feeling deliberately they are delaying the processing and instead milk us in EAD/AP. At least I am lucky to have EAD/AP, think of others who may not be fortunate. Very sad days each month when the bulletin release.

Saras - I believe you think from Oct 07 there will be movement. Is there any hope/basis that is commented?

My PD is Dec 2001.. my guess for my GC is Vision 2010..
If someone applies today - Vision 2020...
If some one applies next year - Their 401K will come first then GC.. We are stuck and honestly you are very lucky that you have EAD enjoy..

You may also have to contribute to the USCIS massive fee increase in EAD and AP before you see the sunshine. Budget $1000+ additionally every year for your family EAD and AP.

Exactly I have to pay $1300 per year for my family each year.
 
Do not forget to send the comments to be against the proposal and complain to the Congress about it. You still have time to do so; otherwise, many people will be affected, especially those I-485 people. Grrr...

I am just as lost as anyone on this forum. The March bulletin has some very disturbing updates in which they state that the demand for EB3 visas is very high and will be even higher in the coming months. I do not have any hope for this FY (ends Sept 07). As for the next FY that will start in OCT '07, it really depends on how many labors approved from the BECs make into the visa queue. If a lot of them make it to the 485 stage then FY '08 will be tough to.

What can I say. We just happen to be in the wrong place at the wrong time. There really is no short term solution to this mess. And as you said, to rub salt on our wounds, the USCIS has hiked up the fees. This puts a tremendous financial burden on a lot of us. Oh well, we will just have to be patient and hope that something good will come out of all this.

Hello Swas,
After all the delays we are experiencing....you want to complain about price hike......give us a breakk man....I rather pay 5000 for faster processing....you know that they are short of staff too....
