Hi

Please post cases transfered to San Jose office and interview completed with PD current as of June.

I had an interview in San Jose and after that I recvd a letter from INS saying that to send the copy of the letter when the PD is current. The letter says the case is pending due to visa non availability. My attorney send the letter enquiring my case when the PD is current as of June. I have seen lot of post from people who went to local office and some of them getting approvals next day. when I checked wih attorney , she said there are lots of cases there and they expect us to give them atleast 60 days to process. I heard that EB3 dates will retrogress again, then if the case is not picked within 60 days I am back to same situation. She said visiting local office will not speed up, and they will not pick the case immdly. But from the forum it seems people are getting some results by going there.

please post your experince regarding this

Whats the details of your case ?. What's the receipt date , priority date, when was your last fingreprint etc ....?

I would suggest you to take infopass and visit local office and talk to immigration officer. Take the letter they sent you and copy of I140 approval notice and copy of current visa bulletin to verify the priority date.

Eb3 - PD Jan 2003
Last FP - 04 2006

Doesn't seems to be much San Jose trsnfr cases, no postings at all ? !!1

Hi

Thanks for the response. My attorny is saying since they send the letter wait atleast 30 days, when I mentioned about info pass, she said, she don't think it will speed up the process. Can I take info pass before 30 days of sending the letter ?, will it have any impact , trying to avoid trouble. Is sending letter of any help, I am not sure if they will open the packet immdly.

Thanks

If you are lucky then you may get to talk to the officer who is handling the case. I still think going to local office will help. But it should be your call what you want to do.
