San Jose Passport Stamping - How early to go?

Hi,

I got my approval last week and am planning to go to the passport stamping on this Monday (3/18/02). I was wondering if anybody is out there who went to PP recently at San Jose or know how the crowds are? What if I go at say 6 or so? Will I have to wait in line longer or won\'t I even get in? Any information regarding the matter would be very much appreciated.

I advice you to go on a wednesday,and on the brighter side waiting 2 to 5 hrs. is worth the wait since most of us waited for so many years to get our GC approved .....congrat"s on your approval

My experience

We went around 6.30, got into INS office by 11, was issued token
around 11.30, went home and came back around 2 PM, was called
for interview around 2.45, it took 5 minutes for stamping

Once you get the token, you need not wait in the hall. It is very
easy to get inside if you have token.
