Please feel free to join this thread, or the thread in the other forum if you're tracking a N-600 application in San Jose. For those who are not familiar with N-600 this is the form to apply for a certificate of citizenship. This is many times used to apply for a certificate of citizenship for a child who has become a citizen under the Child Citizenship Act. These applications are sent directly to the local offices instead of to a service center like the N-400.
My current status is that I sent the application on August 23d, 2007, the check was cashed around September 14th and I haven't received anything, no receipt, no letter, nada. I am assuming that it has to do with the receipting delays that are also affecting the service centers.
