San Jose Interview - misdemeanor record ..need help

My I 485 got transferred to San Jose center for interview on March 15.
RD- June 6 2001
ND- August 14 2001
WAC- 01-256-xxxxx

I got a misdemeanor-B case (with fine and probation for 180 days: no imprisonment) in 1994 in Texas while I came US on B1 visa. The case got disposed in the same year. Later in 1996 came to US on H1. I forgot to mention this case during I-485 filing. My lawyer says possibly because of this case my filing got tranferred to local INS office for interview.

I have requested the disposition certificate from Texas court. Can anyone suggest what other documents I need for interview. Does anyone has similar experience before and can tell me what to do. One more question, does anyone know how long it takes to get an interview from San Jose these days?

Please help anybody..

I heard that if there is no imprisonment then INS has no problem. Also your case has been disposed off long time back. Usually they erase records for old cases depending on which state it is. So check with Texas state if the record is still available for public access.
