San Jose - finger print notice - can i go early?

Hello folks -

My priority date is 9/23/05. Over the weekend, I got finger print notice date as 11/15/05. But I am most likely out of country around that time. Here are my questions.

Q1. Can I go to finger print prior to that date?
Any experiences positively or negatively?
Q2. If I was asked why I came early, what is appropriate answer?
Q3. What are the documents that need to be taken to finger print?

Q1: Yes. the worst case is they would not let u in.
Q2: you just say you would be away town on a business trip. try to pick some days / hrs which normally do not have too many people going there for FP.
Q3: read your FP appointment for which documents you need to bring

Did you go ahead of schedule? I did. They didn't give me any trouble, just leave your mobile phone in the car, have clean fingers - no cuts or wound, take notice letter and GC, I was there around 11am, about 5 or 6 people there, took only 15 min total.
