Can we start a thread to get an idea about the SFO/OAKLAND,CA time line?

Here is my Timeline:
Sent the application: OCT 15,2003
PD: OCT 23,2003
FD: NOV 26, 2003
Inteview Date: May 14,2004
Oath:????
Passport: ?????

Thanks

PD= Jan 2003
FP Feb 2003
Interview July, 2003
FBI results forwarded 11th Feb, 2004

Oath: still waiting????

Oakland area

My timeline is:
Priority Date: Sept 10, 2003
First Fingerprints: Oct 28, 2003
Second Fingerprints: Jan 7, 2004
No further communications .....

About 1 month after my fingerprints were first taken, I received a notice to have my fingerprints taken a second time. The reason given was that the quality of the first set of prints was not good enough for processing. The BCIS said that taking the second set of prints should not increase the processing time.

Given asathe's timeline, I should have heard something from the BCIS by now. Does anyone have any idea what could have delayed my processing and is there any way I can determine what is causing the delay.

Marin county

Thanks

The citizienship interview was a simple and extremely friendly process. The officer did joke that it was okay to be a bit nervous. I was asked for my green card, driver's license/ID and passport.

The officer went through most of the N-400 app. and verified the information with verbal questions. The officer went through the passports (old & new) to verify the travel dates on the application. The officer added one note as I had made a trip since submitting the app. and interview.

For the civic test the officer asked 7 questions, which where from the standard 100 citizienship interview questions, and getting correct responses stopped. The officer then shook my hand saying congratulations and handed a form indicating the same. I was told that I will be receiving a letter regarding the oath ceremony appointment.

I received the oath ceremony appointment letter a week after the interview date. The oath ceremony in San Fran took about 1.5 hours from start to finish. The beginning one hour was instructions on the oath ceremony process and the other half hour was the actual process.

I would like to thank fellow contributors on this site and this site, whose postings I had used in the road to citizenship.

Did your online status disappear from CSC when you received interview letter ? If yes, did it disappear before or after interview letter arrived ?

I have never been to oakland INS. I wonder if I should go in there and make an inquiry. How is the service over there ?

PD Nov 2003
FD Jan 2004
